Welcome to Herberg Het Rechthuis,
a national monument in the historic Frisian village of Rinsumageast.
The Rechthuis is a national monument and is located in the center of the historic Frisian village of Rinsumageast.
The name of the inn takes us back to the early years of the building, in which it served as an inn and first town hall of Dantumadiel, then the 7th Grietenij of Oostergoo. The most important function at the time of the Grietenij was the judiciary, hence the name court house.
The brick walls allow you to feel the rich history of the Inn from its many functions (including cow's dairy, garage, wedding hall, civic affairs, café, restaurant, etc.)
After a renovation, Herberg Het Rechthuis is open again as a place to sleep, eat and meet each other.
